The Rencontres Arithmétiques have been organized annually since 1989 by the University of Caen Normandy. Their goal is to review a specific topic among those studied by members of the number theory team at the Nicolas Oresme Mathematics Laboratory (LMNO), by inviting leading specialists in the field. They are a key element of the dynamism of fundamental research in Caen and have enjoyed an international reputation for several years.

The 33rd edition of this conference will be held from June 18 to 20, 2025, in Caen. The theme chosen for this edition is "p-adic and modulo p aspects."
